How Your Learning Journey Unfolds

We built this program around the way real people learn about money—starting with the basics and moving at a pace that feels right.

Foundation Phase

You'll learn what stocks and bonds actually are, how markets work, and why diversification matters. No jargon-heavy lectures—just straightforward explanations you can use right away. Most people find this phase takes about six weeks if they're moving through the material consistently.

Strategy Development

Here's where things get interesting. We walk through different investment approaches—index funds, dividend stocks, growth strategies—and you start figuring out what fits your situation. Everyone's different, so we focus on helping you build something that matches your goals and comfort level.

Practical Application

This is where theory meets reality. You'll practice reading financial statements, evaluating investments, and understanding what drives market movements. We use real examples from Canadian companies so everything feels relevant and grounded in the markets you'll actually be working with.

Ongoing Support

Markets change, and questions come up even after you've finished the core material. That's normal. We offer continued access to resources and periodic updates so you can keep learning as your investing journey evolves over time.

Who's Teaching This Program

We're investment educators who remember what it felt like to be confused about the markets. Both of us started as complete beginners—Linnea in economics research, Bjarne through portfolio management—and we've spent years translating complex financial concepts into language that actually makes sense.

Teaching this program means answering the same questions we once had ourselves. What's the difference between a TFSA and an RRSP? How much risk is too much? When should you ignore market noise? These are the conversations we have every day with students across Canada.

What Makes This Different

Most investment courses either oversimplify everything or drown you in theory. We're trying something in between—real education that respects your time and intelligence.

Canadian Market Focus

Everything we teach is built around the TSX, Canadian regulations, and tax considerations that matter here. You won't waste time learning systems that don't apply to your situation.

Real Portfolio Examples

We walk through actual investment decisions—not hypothetical scenarios that never happen in real life. You'll see how experienced investors think through choices, including the mistakes we've learned from along the way.

Self-Paced Structure

Some people move through this in three months. Others take a year. Both approaches work fine. The material is organized so you can learn at whatever speed fits your schedule and learning style.
